Anime Paradox X Wiki — Autoplay Guide
Update 1.5 added official Autoplay to Anime Paradox X — replacing risky third-party macros for long portal grinds and Infinite sessions. Lunmei's system auto-spawns units, upgrades them, and fires abilities based on simplified placement logic. This guide covers enabling Autoplay, what it does well (Secret Portal trash waves, AFK-adjacent farming), and where manual play still wins after the July 2026 Re-Release.
Enabling Autoplay
Open Settings from the in-game menu and toggle Autoplay on before starting a match. Force Restart and Force End Match buttons arrived in the same patch for faster loop resets when farming portals.
Autoplay does not auto-start matches — you still launch stages manually and select portal tiers yourself.
What Autoplay automates
Auto spawn places units on available slots with high placement speed.
Auto upgrade spends gold on level-ups when thresholds trigger.
Auto skill fires active abilities on cooldown — excellent with Meta AoE like Kid Boo, Storrk, or Zid (Atomic).
- Works best with high-range or full-map AoE DPS
- Strong for Secret Portal wave clear between boss checks
- Pairs with Bulla economy when gem generation still matters
Autoplay limitations
No auto-start — you must click into each run. No automatic reward collection after completion.
Portal selection stays manual — Autoplay will not pick Tier 15 lobbies for you.
Placement logic is generic — precision comps (Support aura positioning, corner Ichigo setups) still need manual input.
Early reports noted targeting bugs on some patches — verify boss phase behavior before AFK-ing high-tier content.
When to use Autoplay vs manual
Use Autoplay for repetitive portal grinds, low-tier Infinite pushes, and material farms where AoE Meta units carry.
Switch to manual for DBZ Tower, Raid Act 3 enrage timers, and any fight requiring Brojo stun timing or Idol heal positioning.
Post-Re-Release, combine Autoplay with HolyMoly reroll sessions only after defining keeper units — do not macro reroll menus (unsupported).
